I know April 1 is April Fool’s Day, but I don’t pull off pranks because it’s not really popular here in our place. Also, I don’t see anyone fooling people and all that. People here spend it just like ordinary days. Or so I thought.
So yesterday I received a phone call and the woman on the other line told me that she saw my post in one of the threads of some forum (I think it was the AmericanIdol.com forum). Problem is, I’m not a member of the said forum. I don’t even read the posts. Lol. The only forum I’m in is DavidCookOfficial.com. So from there, I already doubted. Then, she told me that I won a free ticket to the American Idol finale in LA. That was funny, because no matter how much of an Idol freak I am, I don’t join contests like those. Also, the way to win a ticket to the finale is NOT through the AmericanIdol.com forums. So I was like, “Wow(?). Okay?”
They thought I was pleased and all that, and I heard boisterous laughters on the other line. Okay, so my classmates were the ones who called. “Happy April Fool’s Day!” they said.
Good thing they didn’t get me there.

That’s a bad prank xD It’s way too obvious that it wasn’t for real, haha. :P I’m glad to see you didn’t fall for it.

I wish more people pulled pranks. Not that I do that myself, but still. :P
At least your classmates tried! XD

Hahaha good thing you didn’t fall for that prank! It would’ve been really funny if you did. Hehe. Not much happened during April fool’s day on my end though. Corny haha.

It wasn’t a very good prank, but they tried. ^_^ I only pulled a minor prank and only one person got it.
There’s always next year.

Agh, I despise April Fools Day, it’s so pointless. I see no point in the childish pranks especially if we are all expecting them. Good for you for not getting fooled!

Wow, who would fall for that? ;D
We need more creative April Fools’ Pranks in the world. I found a good one a while ago, brought to us by the notorious Improv Everywhere:

Yeah, I don’t like April Fool’s Day. Especially as a teacher, I was a little nervous. But out of the two years that I was in the classroom, nothing bad happened. That was a pretty funny joke that your friends tried to pull on you but they should have done a little more research so you couldn’t have caught on so quickly.

I don’t do April Fools either. I mean, I guess I thought about it once or twice when I was younger, but it doesn’t really thrill me either. I see more of it online than off, lol.

It’s not popular here in my place either. I hate intense jokes so I don’t pull them off others. Dx

Hmmm even though it was April 1st there wasn’t much pulling pranks here either. I totally forgot about. Funny your friends tried to pull a joke, but it didn’t work at all.

Pranks seem to get less common the older you get :S I only had one this year haha, whereas when I was younger, I had like five or six!
