I don’t know if some of you know or remember, but 80s/early 90s kids like my siblings always have fond memories of playing games on the Family Computer (also called NES). It’s going to be hard to believe, but we have it again. A Chinese friend gave it to us and everyone’s actually having fun with all the old games, even my parents (I never even knew that my dad was a Super Mario expert before, lol)! My favorite right now is Battle City:
I am also starting to like Lode Runner, even if I still can’t get past stage 2. I’m sorry, I’m new to this stuff okay? XD
It’s so fascinating how old games were so simple. It’s a nice break from all the complicated games nowadays. Some of our modern gamers judge games mostly based on graphics and not on the gameplay, so it’s nice to go back to basics and experience great computer games without all those intricate CGI graphics. For the first time, I played just for the sake of pure enjoyment.
If only I could do the same for school. :)
Have you experienced the NES too? What was your favorite game?

Yay, Load Runner! :)
Nothing beats Mario, if we’re talking about classic games!

Yeah i’ve played with some of the games before in that gaming platform and I LOVE LODE RUNNER! I actually miss playing that game. I also enjoy playing Mappy and Legend of Kage :) My brother also used to have a cartridge with loads of games on it that had the old Family Computer games :)

I remember NES! Just not the many games that it included. I miss the good old days.
Games these days really are ALL about graphics. Like the Sims for instance, I have no idea why I love it and it’s just so addicting because in a sense it’s boring, you really do nothing but control someone’s life and the graphics are oh so fascinating.

Dude that’s cute :)
I used to play all the old classics back in the late 80s and 90s. King’s Quest, Quest For Glory .. and of course all the retro arcades mentionable. Well, I may have missed a few but hey.. there’s so much to choose from!
