Awfully Pretty

Okay, so I decided not to have a date for the prom. It’s normal, anyway, since I’m in an all-girls school and some of the people I know have stayed there all their lives so they don’t know anyone who could be their date. But of course, my mom didn’t want me to be “alone” there so she decided to look for a guy for me. It’s a bit annoying because I already had plans with my friends. It would be awkward to be the only one with a guy in our cluster. I told my mom I’d think about it.

So awhile ago we went to see my prom date. And it turned out to be my grade school friend, so I thought that I’d be having no problem dealing with him since we were close and all that. But heck, when I talked to him he was such a snob, and he looked like he hated seeing me or whatever. He used to be a great talker AND listener, but now I don’t even know what to say and do. Argh. I was right, I didn’t need a prom date. I wouldn’t want to be with someone who ignores me for loooong hours. Later, I said that I just wanted to be a stag like my friends, but it was too late. My mom and his mom have already agreed on things. *sigh* What do I do?

Anyway, I also got to see my gown for the very first time! It’s already finished and I love it! It looks really nice! I’ll try my hardest to post pictures.
